Things are stirring - can you feel it?

I'm in the process of making big changes. Monumental. I've been here before, and, as is life, I'll most likely be here again. It's familiar territory, and yet the fear of it always has a way of catching me by surprise.

Last week, I was full speed ahead. Pieces were revealing themselves steadily and I was beginning to put the puzzle together.

This week, the resistance is palpable. My brain is fuzzy. The pieces don't seem to fit - or maybe the picture on them is all wrong - or maybe I'm doing the wrong puzzle. My fingers can't grasp the pieces. Will people understand the finished result?

We're still deep in the energy of the recent Scorpio Full Moon Eclipse, a serendipitous reminder for me to give into the flow of what's there, and allow myself to be gently curious about the resistance. To go inward, instead of pushing outward.

From Rising Woman:

There is no rush, despite what the calendar says. If I take the time now to sit with what's present, the result will be all the better for it.

"The deeper we can go into ourselves, the lighter we will come out."

What is this resistance trying to teach me? What energetic pattern is still with me that needs tending to? What am I clinging to that, if I let go, will make way for the new?

I can feel it - even just in sharing these words - a releasing of the fire-y energy that was causing tension in my head.

As this week progresses, I can choose to fight the resistance in order to fulfill my old pattern of productivity at all costs (so common in our individualistic capitalist society!), or I can allow myself rest, where I can put on the alchemist hat and play around, opening to the gold that wants to show up.

As a part of my treatment for chronic mycotoxin illness, I am required to spend at least 5 minutes in the sunshine every morning.

I know, right?

It has given me some fantastic nature viewing I'd otherwise not notice during my morning routine.

This morning, my neighbors have some workers installing concrete in their backyard. The workers are super nice and very respectful, and there's still noise involved with the work.

I could be upset that this is interfering with my serene, zen morning sunshine.

But I am not.

Next to me, there is a patch of leaves with lots of tiny branches in it. I noticed that a sweet dove kept flying in and out of the leaf pile.

The dove is building her nest at another neighbor's house. We've delayed cleaning up our yard for various reasons, and as such, have left around the nature detritus that allows natural cycles to continue.

I am grateful.

I am grateful that in this current world with it's current systems, I have followed my gut and gotten to a place where I can sit here today and call up the knowledge I have reintegrated about nature, cycles, balance, connection, and letting go.

I am grateful for the smile that comes with the fact that our dog, Sol, has decided he is a flower and laid in our dying flower bed. (Swipe right)

I am grateful to be supported in rebuilding my nervous system so that I may build my nest and birth new creations into the world that will help usher us into a new/remembered way of being.

I am grateful.
