What a fun and frustrating challenge this show was – directed by Robert Kramer, starring Michael and Rachel Bouchard, Brian Landis Folkins and Chris Kendall. The script, by Mike Bartlett, describes that the show should have no set, no lights, no sound, no props. What? What?! While that can mean endless possibility, it can also easily cause “deer in the headlights” reaction. Set designer Christopher Waller started off the design team with a fantastic idea to create a cock fighting ring set up in the theater. That risky idea created a unique setting in which I could play with lighting (again, pretty much in the round) against a black and dull metallic background. Robert wanted us designers to have a lot of creative license, so he didn’t push too much with ideas, but did know that he wanted a dark, shadowy design that would cause actors to walk in and out of the light to help drive the scene.

I shot and edited this fun video for ARTiculate: Real&Clear. We wanted to do a fun spoof video for the holidays, but also make sure to give relevant content that would be beneficial to the audience. All Ivy+ Career Expo Explainer Video | Video Editing

This explainer video was comissioned by Robin Kane and Ryan McCaw, the Vice President and President (respectively) of the Penn Alumni Club of Colorado. They are on the board of the group that holds the All Ivy+ Career Expo here in the Rocky Mountain region. Hilary Blair and Kenny Storms of ARTiculate: Real&Clear attending this year’s expo, with Kenny shooting video of the event. Hilary was tasked with recording the voice over, while I took on all of the editing. This video was edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.
